The friends that I purchased the mug for were disappointed in regards to safely. They felt that the lip was not secured in having hot water in the mug. Especially when using it whilst driving. I have experimented with mine and I was not aware of any leakages. I find that they are very critical in judgement of items brought. They would be happier if they a more secure fitting to using the mug more safety. I was hurt when they mentored to me that they can use for a catcus plant. I am happy with my purchase.
